Safety Dance was really awesome.

Loved Safety Dance, Nichijou had a lot of scenes that made me laugh and rewind, and this vid had a lot of the same. Loved how you transitioned between scenes. I actually didn't realize how many dance-y scenes were in the show. I have to disagree with Yue about the title text from the opening, I don't see any reason to remove it.

You For Me, however, I have to agree with Yue on. It seemed like too much lipsync and too little to drive the vid home. Crossdressing voices isnt always a bad thing, but it was kinda jarring here. I did like the photo effects, however.

OMG! Old school FTW! I am VERY old school and Safetly Dance made me feel like I was watching an 80s music video for some parts.

I liked the 2nd one as well. Great concept! The male lip synching was a but creepy tho.

You For Me... not so much. I get the feeling there's lipsynch for the sake of lipsynch. Plus, lipsynching a male character to a woman's voice feel awkward.

Safety Dance: had me chuckling, really quite charming. Maybe I'm just a sucker for Nichijou vids as long as ppl don't screw it up. Nope this was really well done.

Enjoyed Safety Dance very much! Very good dance/fun video. Pretty simple editing, with just a few masks for transitions, exactly what it needed to work. I liked how you actually had the scenes and good lip sync do the work there and not random effects.

QFT, I didn't think the lipsync was overused and was handled well. I also liked the Japanese text in the background, it would have been rather plain without it.

Thanks again, thats generally what Beta testers I had were telling me regarding the text.

Safety dance was adorable! You had great sync and had really great lip execution. Very natural looking. The visual quality was FANTASTIC. I guess I'm just used to the youtube quality of things, but this one just seemed especially... "Pretty".

I wanted to get up and groove with it. Definitely will keep this one in my mind for VCAs.

Thanks, the majority of the dancey scenes came from the openings and the little commercial break things. Thanks for the feedback on You for Me, I really didn't realize how strange the crossdressed voices would appear to some people so its definately something to keep in mind for future projects.

Glad you liked Safety Dance and thanks for the input. The lipsynch in you for me really was in there for the sake of lipsynch since I tailored it to a person's particular taste who seems to love all kinds of lip synching.

I loved the Saftey Dance video! It was fun with lot's of good flow and transitions, Having myself edited a video with nichijou recently I can say you did it justice.

As for the second video, I didn't like it as much. The thing that bothered me the most was the lipsynch.
You can lipsynch pretty well, but hearing the same singing voice come out of multiple characters is highly distracting.
(I know you already explained this...)


I also saw you at the editor showcase, wanted to talk to you more because you've got some pretty cool stuff! but we never got the chance I guess
