I couldn't get this song out of my head the entire con, so I ripped the audio from your video (I couldn't find the mp3 and brentalfloss only has it on CD) and put it on my mp3 player to play in my car.

Now I feel like walking around the office singing this song and blasting it with my windows down when I park.

considering what DID make the action finals i'm rather surprised this wasn't in the contest either. (i am pointing to myself at this) This just proves that a video doesn't have to make the AX finals to prove it's awesome.

i still don't understand the jokes cuz i don't play final fantasy, but everytime it was played people always laughed at the exact same parts. i feel so outta the loop

i wanna get that song now tho.

As far as the music goes. One handy thing about Brentalfloss's page is that you can buy his CD as a download in a multitude of media formats which made getting a good quality version of the song exceptionally simple. If I recall correctly I got it in AIF format or something, don't know - would have to check the original project files.

As to Rider . . .the jokes are actually across the board. Though the song is limited to Final Fantasy I threw in things from World of Warcraft, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy VII, the Legend of Zelda, a few general RPG references and one obscure NES wresteling game with an infamous piece of engrish. I figured I'd cover my bases and hit a bunch of other RPGs where appropriate. The only one I wasn't able to work in was the Tales of series since I couldn't come up with a good joke that the audience would get.

As to Bashar. . .you actually know the guy? Didn't see that coming, I was actually considering posting the video on youtube as a video response to his original one.
