...watches

No didn't love it. I watched it a few times before posting, maybe I should watch it again, but the visuals to me didn't always match together well with the music. I usually love this editing style focusing on character movements to match elements of the audio, matching the emotion/style of the music, which is what you are really good at, but I wouldn't say it is the case this time around. Maybe this video was an experiment because the style didn't remind me too much of other videos of yours, but regardless the style was pretty interesting. It mostly didn't match together well for me. . I wish the video footage matched the music more in a bit more emotional way.

Scenes didn't always match what's going on in the music. For the action presented, how the characters moved, angels on characters, camera movement, character expressions, the coloration of backgrounds and characters and the changes in lighting contrast didn't have enough focus that would of otherwise added a lot to the overall mood. Some important elements were ignored while others favored but some elements I wish you had more of.

Thought the whole ending worked very well with the audio, but the rest kinda felt loose. This didn't seem like your typical editing style and it was original and interesting to see.

I watched it a few times because I wasn't enjoying it that much at first so thought I may have missed something. If I'm being blind to it's true quality feel free to chew me out.
What the fuck ever.

Well sorry, I know I may have no say in what is or isn't great about the video especially since you have more understanding and authority of this art. But what if a more recognized editor that you respect nitpicked your video as much as I did.. would you then be more receptive? :|

HD version got un-synced for me initially so I was mystified as to why you were off syncing everything. For some reason the encode doesn't like to play nice with DVXA playback but that's for another time.

Maybe it's because of my own perception of all of the Blue Stahli [Huge fan of all of Bret's work] tracks that's throwing me off. But while synced proper it didn't sync the mood the audio conveyed for me personally. Though this probably comes down to me conceiving a different visual representation of the audio prior to seeing this video.

Regardless of that though this shows again like you always have that you can do interesting things with internal sync. Which is defiantly something the vast majority of editors have forgotten these days. So it was very enjoyable, I'm just left longing for the footage to look as tight as the motion and sync in it. Simply put I'd love to have seen you play with the colors/contrast a little bit, but I know that isn't up your alley so that's that.

Still very solid video just not as jaw dropping as I had hoped.

I guess I'll take that as a compliment.

Oh...this kind of worries me. Maybe people aren't seeing it in sync...Plays just fine for me in VLC though.
