Re: [TGWLTT] Time hurts
Generally well made. Only recommendation i would give is adjusting your shakes a little. They seemed a little too smooth and I think you were going for something more jarring. I think I would've gotten more into it if you had fleshed the concept out a little more with establishing characters, mood, and setting. I feel like I jumped into the middle of a video and not watched one from beginning to end. Really good for a first attempt at this type of video. Keep it up

Re: [TGWLTT] Time hurts
It wasn't bad, just a couple things i didn't like. The shakes could definitely improve and the glow effect that started around 0:50 was too strong imo. Some of the scene choices could've been better too, but I still liked the vid. Nice concept and good job

1) Visually beautiful.
2) I actually liked the shaking. :O
3) I think some of the scenes were a tad too long and needed a little more cutting up. especially the sceners of her falling and/or going throught he time gates.
4) The thing right before the ending, hitting the roof and crying? Kind of anticlimactic for me. I was expecting something with a little more force for me.
5) Nice touch on the recoloration effects and blurriness. I thought that was actually a really subtle and well executed effect.
4.25/5.00
Pretty dang nice. Nothing overly conceptually "new" for TGWLTT, but still well done nonetheless.

Thanks! I'll be sure to try and make something longer and more developed the next time I attempt a video like this.LittleAtari wrote:Generally well made. Thanks for the comment! The shakes bugged me also since they were originally too strong IMO so I toned them down, and in the end I couldn't find a good balance between too shaky and not so shakyX13Daxter wrote:It wasn't bad, just a couple things i didn't like. Thanks for the fairly detailed comment!Looking back at it,I agree with the ending being anticlimactic, but as stated this is my first try with something like this.I'll be sure to put more thought in the next time I attempt something like this.I also did kinda feel that I could've done more with this.CodeZTM wrote:1) Visually beautiful.
