Re: Indestructable Alucard!
Well the video needs a LOT of touching up. Their is little to no sync through the entire video ( which made it rather boring to watch ) It feels as if you put NO thought into this at all. Like you just heard the song and though "Hellsing....yes..."
And song of choice doesnt help you here either =\
adding audio clips from the show kinda hurt rather than helped this. It was always really obvious when the audio was from the show (considering it was much louder than the audio from the song) perhaps even it out better next time. fade it in and out possibly.
But putting general editing aside, you made an mp4 which is good BUT your video quality still looks rather shitay.
Not to mention their are black bars on the top and bottom of your video...Try adding this to ur script editor to fix that "crop(0,16,-0,-16)" make sure to put it before ur resize.
But overall I really can't give this more than a 2/5

Re: Indestructable Alucard!
Have to agree with ExSphere on this one.
Just because the song "fits" an anime, doesn't mean just shoving an anime into a song will do the combination justice.
I can see you tried to make it match, but I just don't think you tried quite hard enough.
Showing stuff happening is not the same as making the stuff happening match the music.
By no means do you have to action synch everything, but you should at least try to synch some of it, which it doesn't appear you did.
Don't take this the wrong way, but it really seems like you just went "Oh man this scene looks cool, I'm going to put that in there, oh and this one! Man that's hot, yeah that fits..."
You've only got one part of a multi-step system down, here.
You should read two guides:
Madbunny's Actionvideo 101 which will show you how to apply synching to a video in a way that makes sense, and my How to action synch guide which will show you how to actually synch and where you can synch based on instruments alone (These guides work best together. Madbunny's drives the point home in a better way than mine, but mine has the added plus of visual/audible examples)
I'm sure if you just watch some action videos of anime that you have personally seen and love (Let's say, Hellsing) then you can watch those AMVs and tell where the action scenes where actually manipulated in order to fit the song better.
Remember that good idea =/= instant win AMV
It's more like idea + effort + synch theory = maybe an instant win AMV
That said, your AMV was not horrible.
It was decent. But try harder next time. =)

Re: Indestructable Alucard!
The reason no one has done this before is because disturbed is over used.
Also, I'm sure you could find some more of this anime/song match up on youtube.
I think its good to have a creative spark and effort, but I also agree with the other's comments, you should probably work on putting more time and doing more with the music than just finding a matching song/anime. Keep editing and keep trying, practice makes perfect. ^^
