Something I cooked up as an apology to making Caligula. I know it sucked, but it did give me an idea to make this piece of work. This is my greatest amv I have made up to date.

Not bad at all actually, I think you should have layed off the heavier effects like the masks and blurs, they didn't work to well and detracted from the experience, but overall your sync and scene choice was very nice. Just focus more on the basic editing. 3/5

Thank god for some responses. I'm not a big buff on special effects, but I get what you're saying about effects taking away from the actual concept of the amv. I was trying to stay away from mapping out the piano keys during the solos, since if I had put them in they would have been in the way and misdirect the attention of what was actually going on in the scene. I've been seeing all these new amvs loaded with special effects but not enough footage to know what's going on. Just bits and pieces of info that's not enough to be extrapolated into a clear concise amv. But from the opinions people leave for them lead me to believe that people enjoy that kind of amv. Special effects don't make the amv but it does sure help with getting ops, comments, and originality from the same anime being used repeatedly. I appreciate the comment and my next piece of work will be even better. (With better placed special effects)
