Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Corazon of Mine? Ill Nino? Karas? Sound familiar. Shall check it out right now to see what its about.

I don't know if it was just me, but the audio quality was amazingly horrible. What happened? Also, I couldn't help but to be reminded of Cast To Stone's Unreal amv when I saw those zoom in flashes. Especially since he did the same thing. But I won't compare. Anywho, the editing isn't all that bad, its just not really my cup of tea.

This video is exactly why people should learn how to make a cut before learning how to mask...

Your flow...sucked. It was choppy as anything and theres no flow whatsoever through-out this video. Yea, you know how to mask a little, but in all honesty that won't get you a 5/5 on a video, especially if you don't take the time to learn the basics first. I'd say take your time, stay away from After Effects, or just effects in general for the time being, and practice your flow. Mellow out with some fades and a hard cut here and there, stuff like that.

I'm not going to rate this video on here just out of being polite. As I've said practice some basic editing and try to find an audio source that doesn't sound like someone chewed on it.

Okay well a video shouldn't LOOK choppy, thats my point. Regardless of the fact that you were "trying out different editing styles", a video should still flow...if you want to experiment with editing, you don't need to make a full video about it and expect great reviews....sometimes it helps to just play around a little on like a 10 second clip or something.
And even you posted ":/" about your own video, which obviously means you weren't entirely satisfied with your end result. When that happens, that's when you should maybe look at the parts that didn't work and play around with them until they do...
