Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I disagree with kewp, I think that you needed multiple sources for this amv, there’s a limit to how many times you can have the somewhat depressing chorus play to the same anime esp with the scene’s you chose. It also stopped me from wanting to // like I do when I see a ‘she the ultimate weapon’ vid >.<
What I liked was the way you kept the overall tonal colours consistent, and by that I mean you used several anime sources and none of them jumped out as being much more bright and colourful than the others they blended quite well together.
Nice flow and sync (your multilayer overlays weren’t garish they just slid in nicely, loved the kenshin ones with Tomoe dying(?),+ white peach+ main footage), it’s a quiet video with a muted feel, perhaps the song itself didn’t have the power to carry the scenes, because many of the scenes I’ve seen used before with a lot of ‘omphf!’ or that you used so many of those scenes that they lost their kick overall.
Technically well done, and it was good to see S-Cry-ed used this way for a change ;)
It just doesn’t kick you in the teeth as much.

I thought I'd just say that the mood of this video was well presented with the choice of scene selections. good job

Wow thanks for that indepth comment! This video was something to do to get me out of the standard action/drama videos I tend to do and in that aspect I accomplished what I wanted. While there are themes and messages I hope everyone gets out of this, I do understand some of the impact may be lost. Again thanks for the comment as its people like you that keep people interested in amvs.
