New Video - good but contains spoliers

Post by OtakuForLife » Sun Aug 26, 2007 4:58 pm

Brian is making me write this because he is gay. :( But we made a video together after watching all of Chrono Crusade. Who can not resist Rosette/Chrono? :D

But it is here and I really like it, hopefully y'all will too: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=149513

Brian is making me write this because he is gay.
Huh, that is the most illogical sentence I've heard today, but not quite as good as "my gay computer can't handle lagarith clips!"

I'll download this one sometime today ;) And will edit this post with my comments sooner or later.

EDIT: Random clips of lovers in different poses just doesn't make a good romance AMV for me ;) At frist when the song started I didn't think it would turn out to be good, but you actually managed to capture the feeling pretty well. Or in other words: your AMV had a nice mood.

Technically, I think the flow could have been better. This was rather a random mix of beat and lyrical sync. And sometimes the cuts didn't even seem to be placed exactly on the beats or lyrics or anything.

I don't know.. I think this video had some potential but the overall result just wan't for my liking.

2½/5

ma fave DCFC song plus my fave Anime :P

Had some Good Lyrical synch and a nice mood, but some parts just seemed to drag on, I felt like it would have needed more varity. Wrong AR and rather bad quality in general made me like it less as well :(

Thanks for the comments, guys~ (good or bad.)

Emong: I'm not sure what you'd expect from a romance AMV then? Chrono Crusade is by far not a romantic series, but we tried our best trying to match up scenes with the lyrics. It's far from perfect and some of the lyrical stuff is subtle (as is Brian's way of making videos it seems). I definitely understand what you mean though. I wish we could go and redo some stuff, but our situation right now will not allow that (as I'm leaving the state tomorrow and his computer died...)

Kev: The aspect ratio confused me at first, but Brian sorta explained it to me. Frankly, I'm not quite sure why that matters? We're also planning on trying to submit to an anime con and I guess that has certain specifications that had to be used.

Also I'm not sure how the quality is bad. It's an AMV and does not need to be perfect. xD But I also giggle at fansubbers who care so much about quality.

I tutily understand what you said otherwise, though. Thanks for the critique~. :3
