When it comes to effects, I generally think less is more, but dance videos are the exception to the rule. Dance videos, like dance songs, are purely about stimulation--it's a rave without the ecstasy. If you really want to make a kickass dance video, you need TIGHT editing and lots of flashy stuff. Or at least just tight editing.
Quality needed work.
A lot of your effects appeared out of nowhere. In short, the video did not flow (though the slow parts were better than the fast). If you wanna have beat bars, have beat bars, but don't just put them anywhere there is a beat. Analyze your song before you start throwing effects in.
The transitions between songs were rough. Last thing you want to do in a dance video is throw off the groove :p
