You admit that only a small portion of this video is "good". Here's the thing, if you make 40 seconds that you work hard on and like but you aren't feeling the rest, you can give yourself a break. Don't work on it for awhile until you can think of a way to make the other parts work, don't just throw it together because you want to finish it.
Or hell, cut the song. Not that it matters with you anyway...
