Firefly copyed Outlaw Star?
Let me know what you think is Firefly on Fox. The live action version another version of Outlaw Star. Do the charcters have the same personalities as the Outlaw Star characters do. In my opinion I think is a copy of Outlaw Star.

No, I don't think it's a copy of Outlaw Star at all.
There was no Civil War-type conflict that brought the crew of Outlaw Star together as there is in Firefly.
There's no doctor, no Shepherd, no Companion on Outlaw Star. Gene Starwind seems more on the make for bounties than for hauling cargo.
Firefly doesn't have catgirls or space races. The Serenity is a patched-up bucket of bolts that still flies well compared to the sleek stolen prototype--with AI, I might add--of Outlaw Star. No androids on Firefly. Outlaw Star features a collection of fancy, high-tech spaceports and colonies, while Firefly sticks primarily to low-tech frontier worlds. Not much high-tech outside of the Alliance stations.
The only thing that could be considered a link--and it's a tenuous one at best--is that it's a space western and features a ragtag crew in a spaceship running from trouble. For that matter, Trigun is more of a space western than Outlaw Star.
When I first saw the previews, I knew comparisons would be made. But after seeing both shows, I strongly disagree.
