new to the community, but not to AMVs

Whaddup y'all. Been making AMVs for about a year and half now. Figured I'd try this place out. Referred by RavenBlaze.
So far, all my videos are DBZ (I know a lot of people don't really care for that). Once I get going on something, I tend to stick with it until I run out of ideas...which I'm about to do... 20 videos later. (Yes, I have a lot of free time.

Well, it's nice to see creators of DBZ vids who have the courage to admit the anime is overused.

No, it's a functional introduction man, welcome...

If only it were the right forum, you'd be safe enough from the flames....

However, this is the wrong forum. But, I think the flamers can hold back and go easy on you on the first post.

Oh, my bad. I overlooked that one down there. (Heh, I thought the flameproof suit comment was 'cause I use primarily DBZ.)

But nay, there's lots of good folks here who like DBZ and make vids to them! I'm not a fan, but I'm not one to be hostile. I'll look at an AMV to it every once in a while. But, you'll fit right in with the DBZ clich here

Yep, there are a number of us who like DBZ just fine. ^_^ And I see nothing wrong with making amvs for the series whether there are a lot of them out or not. Of course, if you make *good* vids, it doesn't matter how overused the anime is (some people will complain regardless - but they don't matter), fans will enjoy watching them. Keep that in mind - you'll know who to ignore quickly enough. ^_~

Yeh, I've been aware of how overused it is for quite some time. That's why I downloaded about 100 DBZ AMVs before making my own. I wanted to make sure I stuck with ideas that I hadn't seen done yet (SSJ2 Gohan vs. Perfect Cell, History of Trunks, Vegeta vs. 18, etc.)
Same with Linkin Park DBZ videos. Everybody and their grandma's made one of those. That's why I've only made one, and will only ever make one.
