I hope you don't mind if I say a few words about your AMVs here in this thread bumpkins. It might be awhile before I write anything as an official review, but at least this way I can get something out to you. I'll be back later. Though it might be helpful if you started the file names with your member name or studio name, making it easier to find all the music videos by one sole creator. (I have a lot you know, it's hard to find them
)

That's a good idea. The names they have right now are just names I gave them so I would know what they are on my computer. I also seem to lack something called "creativity," and I couldn't think of any good names to give them. I'll probably start naming my videos with the Escaflowne vid I'm working on. And it's fine if you post your reviews here. I've never had much feedback on them before other than my friends, so beggars can't be choosers!Anime Jedi wrote:Though it might be helpful if you started the file names with your member name or studio name, making it easier to find all the music videos by one sole creator. Hey, you're making this sound like a bad thing!
Anyways, this is going to be brief for now, since I'm not at my computer, and can watch them at the same time, luckily, I did watch them this afternoon.
Well, for the most part, they're pretty good. But in some areas, you need to fix some stuff up. For one, the capture quality. As long as the quality is good, the rest can be average, in my opinion. I understand you probably can't get good quality, but I'm just saying, that's something worth upping up.
Also, maybe some faster edits. You have some good timing, but if the music is going to be fast, the edits help demonstrate that feeling. I just felt that the scenes were the right ones to choose, but felt like you only took a bunch of long scenes that matched the music well.
Other than that. Well done. I make some stuff more specific when I had the vids in front of me. ^_^

Hey 'Jedi! Thanks for the comments! I definitely know that my videos need some work, and I will never, ever say I have the best videos. I just have a lot of fun making them and enjoy watching them when I'm done. I don't ever try to get too fancy, but I do believe that timing is everything. I usually take off serious points from a video if I don't see some example of good timing within about the first minute. I welcome constructive criticism, and I appreciate the time you took to look at my vids. I apologize that I haven't looked at yours yet, but I will very soon (weekend = off work!!). Again, thanks for the comments!

Don't worry about that. I'll save you the time. (I don't make AMVs) I just like to review them and watch them.
Right now, the one vid I have on constant loop is this one
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=11665
It's the song A thousand miles by Vanessa Carlton to the anime Whisper of the heart (first vid to it I've seen)
I just can't stop watching it! ^_^
But hey, I don't review comparing to the best I've seen, so don't worry about that.
