I know some manga that's closer to reality than some anime, I'd rather not mention them though...

Still, anime vs. reality. If I could farkin' make a dimensional machine to suck me into a world of true anime [everyone's cosplayin' or something] I probably would...

Of course, I love watching anime soo, reality is fine by me... ^_^

However, there are also animes that deal with real life situations and don't have super powered characters. Examples are Gravitation and Kodocha:Sana's Stage. I love these series, but fantasy animes are just so much more fun.

I would love to live in an anime world for 1 reason. And that is that Romance still exists in Anime. Where i live it seems all girls look for are money/power, patrick swazee (sp?) biker type guys thata re total assholes. and care nothing about love. Being a idealistic Romantic....it totally suks.....but in Anime, there is nothing but true love and romance

Well, that's women for you. Actually, they're pretty much the same in the anime world. They bitch and whine about everything, and the minute they don't like what a guy says or does, out comes the "SIT" spell, the frying pan, or a swift kick in the nuts.

Reality is better than anime, because there's no way the Japanese will ever be able to top the American car chase. C'mon, when's the last time an anime actually topped Bullit(1968), or Smokey and the Bandit? Also, the American supercars (GTO, 442, Chevelle, Camaro, Firebird, Challenger, 'Cuda, Charger, Road Runner, Mustang Mach I, II, III, IV, and Boss 302) can never be duplicated properly in anime*.

*The 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500 was studied, driven, and amazingly brought to the world of anime in all it's glory in "Gun Smith Cats". However, "Gun Smith Cats" didn't give the proper tribute due to Carol Shelby, and the original reason the GT-500 was created, the AC Cobra.
