Post by -ssj2gohan- » Sun Nov 24, 2002 8:56 pm

I a a newbie to making amvs and i just joined this forum recently. I have been making (just dbz and Final Fantasy) vids for less than a year, I am 14. How long have you guys been making them? Who is the longest and most experienced creator?

I've been making AMVs for about over a year now, and I'm going to turn 20 in February. I think the person who's been making AMVs the longest is RichLather. As his sig says, "Makin' Fan Crap since 1989!" :wink:

I started last year, the day before my 10th birthday. I've improved a lot since then (I was making crappy DBZ videos set to random songs with 3rd generation fansubs when I started...o_O)

Started in April, 2002, I guess, when I stayed up all night making my first video. :P Not very long at all. I was a watcher/lurker for a little while before that, maybe a year or a year and a half, something like that. Still pretty new to everything, but I think I'm getting the hang of some of it. ^_^;

Dear great heeby jeeby, I hope I'm decent enough to be around that long 8)

But anyway, I've been doing this for about a year (/Me is 19 now). My anniversary of joining the site was a few weeks ago; I completely forgot about it :shock:

Get over it.

Maybe not quite that long... I've been making music videos since about 1987 (15 years now!)... Most of my have been done for conventions, panels and club meetings. When I started, I was already an anime fan, but I made lots of science fiction videos... I made my first Anime one in 1993.... I still made more videos with two VCRs then I have digitally. Now that's scary!!

So why that long?? Well......Why not

Hmm... about a year, although I've only worked on two during that time and I've only been on the org for five months or so. I think its fair to say I'm still a N00B or whatever to all of this. Although I do consider myself to be a avid newbie at that even though I don't post much.
