Anime with Trains and Snow
Heya,
I've been working on an AMV with Trans-Siberian Orchestra and various anime... I need clips of trains moving, trains pulling to a platform, and especially any train in snow... any one got any ideas? I know trains are a kinda easy thing, sence they're so common in Japanese culture (as opposed to American, at least), but I'd like some input.

Here's stuff on the top of my head:
Spirited Away
Kenshin (somewhere around ep 20?)
Love Hina
outlaw star (ep 23, has snow in the episode too, might have both at once)
Evangelion has street cars that look like the interior of a train,
That's all I can think of for now. Hope it helps.

The sword, it thirsts to drink of man,
The sword at last must win,
Today is gone, and yesterday,
Must echo in the wind.

let's see... i know demon city shinjuku has a train seen. it's an action seen though so.....

An ocean of dust and randomly strung together pieces of hydrogen, serving no purpose other than allowing all of us to continue in our misery, doomed to an enternity of petty squabbles and meaningless ego trips, until the whole thing one day explodes and starts the whole shebang all over again. - Chaos_Angel

Kishin Corps aka GeoArmor is another train anime. Lots of battle scenes, but I can't remember any snow scenes even though much of it is set in Siberia/north Asia/Europe. If it helps, the series opens with a scene in heavy rain - when a train is attacked by aliens and Nazi collaborators.
Gatekeepers also has an episode with train action. I'm only halfway through the series and I don't recall any scenes with train + snow. But there is an episode with many snow scenes, so maybe with overlays...
Patlabor movie 2 has some scenes with an elevated city train in heavy snow.
GE999: the train's approach to Pluto (ice planet) might work. Or you can overlay a train scene over one of the snow scenes (the scenes where Tetsuro's mother is killed). I don't think this is out on DVD.

trains and snow!!!
Gods be!
"Kenji's Spring" has trains and snow and snow with trains and snow flying and trains flying...it is the train and snow anime of the next millenium...what's up with that?
Also, "Earth Girl Arjuna" has one very brief scene in episode two with a train plowing through the snow with a little kid watching...maybe 15 seconds worth of footage...hmmm...

Blood: The Last Vampire has a train, but part of it's an action scene, another is where it flies by underground, and another is people discovering a mutilated body. . . So. . . Yeah...
Earthian in the 1st and 2nd episode(I think the 2nd. I know there's one in the first) there's train action. You have a lot of good trains with peopel jumping out of them while they're still moving, and grass waving because of the train. People getting on trains. . . Half the episodes revolve around trains. Sorry to say there's no snow, though. I'd say, since there's only four episodes in Earthian, to watch the whole thing, and see what trains pop up.
