A plathora of Ayashi no Ceres ideas

Alrighty. I have enough projects going on right now for AMVs(and the best thing about it is I get school credit! Yay! Anyway. . .) and all these ideas for Ceres jumped into my head for some indescribable(sp.) reason. I mean, I only have the first two manga, and have seen the first 3 DVDs, what could I be thinking?? But, that's besides the point. Here's some ideas off the top of my head which are free for anyone to take. But it'd be great if you could email me to let me know you're doing it, so I won't dish out that particular idea to somebody else. Anyway. Here's the list:

In The End- Linkin Park - Aki's hidden "essence"(?)

Yeah, I know how Linkin Park's been so overused, but this MAY be somewhat original. This could be about the fisherman tribal guy(don't know his name ><) That Aki "turns into" and how Aki tries to keep it from coming up when Aya's around because he loves her so much. The same could go the other way around with Aya and Ceres, but personally, I'd like the Aki one better. The remix of In The End may work better for this, were it not for that long interlude of "linkin Park... In The End... Motionman!" being repeated so much. Anyway, that's the first idea.

Family Portrait- (don't know who sings it) - A Mikage Portrait

I think this would be a great idea for someone to do. Family Portrait is a song where the singer's just talking about how her family is falling apart, and she wants it to be the way it used to be. Well, think of the great similarities between that and the Mikage family! Aya and Aki's family are trying to kill them(well, most of the family members) and Aya AND Aki wish it was like it used to be. This would work pretty well considering all the flashbacks that are in the series, and the long shots of guns to Aya's forehead. You could also put Toya in there somewhere, since he "works for" the Mikage family, and all.

Die Another Day- Madonna - Attempted Murder of the Progeny

This is similar to the idea above, but more so focusing on how everyone's trying to kill Aya. However, it'd also work well with Ceres wanting to kill all the Mikage family, also.

Wherever, Whenever- Shakira - Forbidden love

Story of the relatsionship between Toya and Aya. (etc., etc., yeah, yeah)
Really don't like to focus on the "main concept" in a series in an AMV, but that's just my opinion.

Underneath Your Clothes- Shakira - A Love Story

The same Idea as above. Not that I'd actually do either of these ideas, but I figured, "hey, someone else may be looking for that 'perfect' song..."

Forgotten- Linkin Park - Toya's Past

Well, being Toya lost his memory, and how cleanly the lyrics would work with that (that is, if you had the whole series at your fingertips, including some scenes from the opening) it'd be a really great idea if you think about it, despite Linkin Park's overuse.

Last Time- Fuel - I'll Not Bleed for You

If you get a hold of the lyrics for this song, it'd work really great with Aki's "transformation" into the Fisherman Tribesman person (God, I wish I knew his name! I'll probably think of it later...). Or, just plain about Aki.
See, Aki has this problem. Ceres hunts him down, and the fisherman Tribesman wants to take control of him and kill Ceres(or so I've concluded to). So, being as Aki's so. . . Messed up, for lack of better wording. . . This would be a great song to put those scenes to. In case you're not sure about using this idea, here's a small bit of the lyrics.
"I want to fall/And you see it all/And you'll just laugh when I say:/This is the last time(x2)/This is the last time now/I'll bleed for you"
On to the next idea.

Innocent- Fuel - Innocence of the Progeny

Alrighty. The last idea(that I can think of off the top of my head).
You absolutely MUST know the lyrics for this AMV to work[like I want it to].
Okay, here goes. When Fuel's talking about Satan(first verse) "satan, you know where I lie" then you can do scenes just about Aki. And Aki alone. How he's injured and wants to be with his twin despretely, and how he wants to hold back his "transformation" from hurting people.
When Fuel starts talking about Angels "Angels, lend me your might" you can talk about Aya, and only Aya. How she's being hunted, and has absolutely know idea how to control her "transformation" into Ceres. She doesn't mean to hurt anybody, nor does she want to. It just happens.

And for the last verse, we split it up into two parts. The first part- "This prayer is for me tonight/this far down that line and still ain't got it right" you can show Toya and/or Kagami(I'll explain why Kagami in a moment).
For Toya, you could show how he really can't remember anything, and how he tries to help Aya/Yuhi, however secretly, and gets beat up for it by Kagami. ("Toya's been playing love games with your sister, Aki"). Two lines isn't that much time to show that really well. On to "Why Kagami?"
You could also show Kagami in those two lines, because he tries to find where the robe is, however unsuccessfully, and also tries to make new "C-Genomes" And ends up essentially killing them.

Now, for the rest of the lines("And while confessions not yet stated/our next sin is contemplated/never did we know/what the future would hold/or that we'd be bought and sold/we were innocent")
You can show those few main characters and how they deal with their "screw ups"/"transformations". I'll use Aya for an example here, only because she's the easiest one to explain for these few last lines.

"confessions not yet stated"- Aya trying to hold back Ceres for the first time(mummified hand). She's not yet confessed for the crimes Ceres is about to commit for her.
"Our next sin is contemplated"-Ceres/Aya's next sin is cintemplated by unseen forces. Perhaps Ceres clasping Yuhi's face would be a good scene for this lyric.
"never did we know"- Aki and Aya together.
"What the future would hold"- Their "transformations".
"Or that we'd be bought and sold"- How Toya has basically been "bought" by the Mikage, for that slim chance of Toya's past being redeemed, but then he was sold, because he "plays love games".(Don't have an ideal scene for this one).

"we were innocent"- *chuckle* yeah. Like I'd give you an ending scene!

Anyway, that's just an example for an ending, if you actually used it, I'd be somewhat mortified between my fits of paralyzing awe.

The ideas that you've got kicking around for Aki are pretty much summed up completely in this video, ironically, also set to a Linkin Park song (although I think "A Place For My Head" might have been the best choice for this kind of video, as it's the song that most focuses on the inner-mental torment, rather than also what's on the outside). It's got an overall score of 9.44, so especially if you're a fan of "Ceres," you'll probably enjoy the video :D. Just be warned that it pretty darn well spoils a few things here and there (mostly towards the end of the series).

Don't say that! Even if you ARE being sarcastic. MeriC is my all time favorite AMV creator. *echoes* OF ALL TIME. (But put away the pitchforks some of you are hiding behind your back, this is MY opinion, not yours! )

Anyway, I was hoping to not put that idea up, I had thought I got around it. Oh well. I guess I didn't realise I put up one just like it through all my ranting(of apparently good ideas). I've seen MeriC's Paranoia Rebirth and it's the AMV that made me buy the manga (only because I don't have enough money for another DVD series. Bleh. [I meant that in a good way!]) I have most her AMVs not on DBZ on a VCD that I can play anytime I want thanks to Rosoft VCD player(And it's on a bigscreen TV, too! Boy am I lucky.)

You know, that reminds me. . .

. . . . I hope she got my email about someone stealing her site. . .
