They either use bootleg DVDs, the R2 DVDs (imported), or downloaded footage. The decision as to what source footage to use for your videos soley rests on your hands.chocomel wrote:Thx for the tutorial.
however, Phase guide says "Never use downloaded footage"
i was thinking about naruto or scryed or w/e anime, and there arent any dvd's of those.
is this a "hopeless task" ? in other words; what do other people who make naruto amv's do?

Despite the fact that I haven't seen the video in question, I'm guessing she used the R2 (Region 2) DVDs, which she could of gotten imported from Japan. My next guess is that she got hold of a bootleg or a fansub that gave her good quality. Other than that, I wouldn't know.chocomel wrote:yeah but; example: Premonition Studios - Phenomenon (Open Your Soul)
it looks REALLY nice, the image is Very clear.
even the naruto of anbudom etc doesnt look that clear, how did she made it that beautifull? if i remember correctly, there arent any dvd's of naruto out yet.

It is possible to clean up the footage using AVIsynth; however, it's a tricky tool to learn if your just starting to make AMVs.chocomel wrote:even the naruto of anbudom etc doesnt look that clear, how did she made it that beautifull? if i remember correctly, there arent any dvd's of naruto out yet.
