Contest Idea...

I just had an idea for an AMV contest. Would be 'interesting' and 'different'.

The contest would consist of people being able to send ANY video into the contest. Even ones they didn't make. Basically they 'sponser' a video into the contest. Your not allowed to tell people what you've entered, and if two or more people enter the same video, the video is disqualified. So it would be a game of strategy as well. Your only safe bet would be to enter something brand new, that hasn't been released. (could always put a rule against this). Then all the videos that make it to the contest, are judged and a winner is picked.

The goal would be to submit the best, not obvious AMV you can think of. If it's obvious, someone else may submit it as well...but it still has to be really great to win. (No limit on the age of the video).

This isn't a contest I ever plan on running, just an odd idea I figured I would put out there for others to think on.

Hmm interesting. I know of an amv or two that are excellent but not noticed much yet. It'd be an different challenge that's for sure.
