2 videos with the same character

I am now just starting another X (TV) video and find myself once again wanting to do one about Subaru. Unlike my last one, however, this video will be mellow and slow. I was just wondering if anyone else has a favorite character that they like to make videos of, regardless of whether they have made one starring that character in the past?

Heh, how many of the Eva fans make multiple vids featuring Shinji? Or the Kenshin fans making all those Kenshin vids? Or how about the mindboggling number of Inuyasha/Kagome vids all made by the same creators?

People pick a character and milk him till he's dry. If there's a different aspect to look at, or even if it's just a different song to use with the exact same footage - fans will make as many as they want till they get burnt on the footage/theme. It depends on your threshold. How many Subaru vids till you start to dislike him? Me, I can make Hiei-centric amvs till I die without getting bored, so I have a very high threshold when it comes to my favorite characters.

Some are more 'original = everthing' minded, and they'll avoid ever using the same anime twice. They're the minority.

During my early editing, a time when I worked near exclusively with DBZ, it was Vegeta. Two full videos and two half videos. The vast majority of the rest of my DBZ videos would contain mini-tributes to Vegeta, even if the main focus was on another character. I don't see anything wrong with it, it was actually alot of fun.

Tetsuo is the man and all forms of media featuring him are instantly 5 stars in my book. Same goes for Dilandu

Since most of us start with a small anime collection, the videos tend to be from that pool. As you collect, or rent more stuff you'll get a larger pool of source to work with. Plus, so what if it's the same character in a different video? As long as it isn't the same exact song, and the same exact stuff then it's a new video right? Like Arigatomyna says... "milk him till he's dry" Finding new ways to look at the same characters is one of the fun things about watching AMVs.

well since im limited on my footage i usally make watever i can work with and thats mostly Dragonball z
