Re-watching a video after reading good ops about it
Whenever after re-reviewing my own opinion about someone's amv, or reading a good opinion about my own vid, it makes me wanna go watch that amv again a few times, and then I'd feel glad or proud of it.
I feel myself odd when I think about it. Am I the only one with this habit?

I feel good about my videos no matter what. Even if I get a bad op, I still watch my videos a thousand times!
Mostly because I constantly look at it and try to find things I could have done better, or should not have done to begin with. But I'm always proud of my videos...even the ones I hate.
Of course, getting good ops kinda boosts my ego a bit

For my own videos I generally re-watch them when I get an opinion just to get a feel for what they were saying, even if it's just a simple 'love/hate the way you did... ' type op.
As for others, if I have 5 or 10 minutes to waste before going to work or whatever then I'll occasionally pull up the list of vids I've oped and see if something captures my attention. Oddly enough they usually aren't even the vids I've given the highest scores to.

I forgot who said this, but remember: Barring the old self critical artist thing, you make what you like so your own videos are perfectly suited to your taste. When I watch my videos sometimes I think they're awesome, sometimes I think they suck, but mostly I just enjoy them.
) "Hey I opped a video to that"!
That's interesting. I spend so much time opping videos that there is a definate distinction in my mind. If I hear the song I'll immediatly think (and sometimes saygodix wrote:As for others, if I have 5 or 10 minutes to waste before going to work or whatever then I'll occasionally pull up the list of vids I've oped and see if something captures my attention. The detailed ops are the funnest/hardest since I pause to catch the timeframes (or specific scenes) commented on.

I show AMVs a lot at my anime club's monthly meetings, that's when I do a lot of my re-viewing. Every few months I come back to this site and read up on opinions here or there and I may watch a video again then too if it's still on my hard drive or I can find the CD I burned it onto nearby.
For my own AMVs, yes, in the rare occasion I get an opinion, I do that too.
