Tech wizards?

Post by comorbid » Thu May 13, 2004 2:05 pm

Just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some videos that show off really good technical skills? I need a reference point so I can tell myself "ok, I wanna do as well as, or better than, THAT."

You might want to be careful where you set your goals though. As good or better than the best videos on the org is a damn high standard.

Watch the DDR Projects if you can find a place to download them. I'm sure someone here will point out a place if they know it, I already have them all on cd :P

What I find strange is the way people refer to mirrors or white flashes as 'advanced'. When I start seeing home-made, moving sepia tones and 40 boxes moving across the screen, I'll say 'advanced'.

As for right now, my standards retain advanced as something like VirtuaAnime and Euphoria.

Well, that's a good goal then. What's the point in setting small goals?
Another pointless post!

Well, obviously, I don't expect to just be able to crank out a visual masterpiece over a weekend. It's more of a goal I'm setting. Based on what I've completed, I've certainly got quite a way to go, but it could happen.
