4th time.. charm?

>_< so I went to download dokidoki's latest. I saw it at otakon and have been waiting since then to see it again. So I downloaded it at school where it would go fast instead of at home on dialup. While it transferred to my zip disk, it decided to crash the computer and chew on the file making it useless. (try 1)
So I get home and try downloading it again. Well at 84% (and two hours later) the connection died and didn't download anymore of it. guess it timed out or something. So I disconnected and waited a while to try again. (try 2)
I try to download the video again much later. 30 minutes into this download (it had to start over) THE POWER GOES OUT!!! power does not come back on for another 9.5 hours. (try 3)

I think i'm not supposed to be downloading this video or something >_<
onwards to attempt #4!!

If you'd placed this in 'Site Help' I'm sure they would suggest you get a program that will allow you to resume the download. I haven't had any work for me, but I hear Opera is good - if it works you won't have so much trouble with the short time outs.

[As for the curse, maybe it's fate. Maybe something horrid will happen to you if the vid is successfully downloaded and someone is trying to protect you by fudging your attempts. Don't mess with fate.

Three is a magic number, you know.

If some force spared you three times for reasons unknown, you may not want to push your luck by being stubborn. It's dangerous.

I got a solution for your download problems, one word "BROADBAND" that should solve a lot of your problems.

Yep, if you're rich, have nice parents to buy you things, or are in college where you're lucky enough to have a fast connection come as part of the package deal.

I aint rich, and thats for sure, but when things are necessary u just goto get it, u kno wat i mean, and i am in college and they do got hi-speed internet, but its been down for a while now, dial up is faster, lol
