There's practicing, and there's suicide. Because many hip-hop lyrics have such rapid-fire delivery, it's nigh-impossible to catch every mouth movement, especially with as limited a set of mouth shapes as most anime characters have.

That said, there are a couple decent hip-hop AMVs out there that do use lip-syncing, I'm just too lazy/tired (it's almost 5AM!) to find the links. Perhaps when I wake up in about 7 hours I'll make a quick post with URLs.

The best thing for practicing lip synch, in my experience, is spoken word. It's much easier to find the right moth movements because anime characters usually arent singing

I have done one rap video, but is stunk like Lake Eire, so until I can rerequisition all said sources it's going to remain dead. And yes it was my number one attempt at lip sync, but as I said before is sucked. I have a new one in the works, but it won't incorporate but a few brief moments of lips.
