frequently i see vids that have high resolution(e.g. 640x480),high bitrate and also high size....but why this?for many of these isn't necessary!
i've seen amv's with high resolution where there were clips which have the original resolution of 320x240 (i know this becouse i've shared that clips from me encoded with that resolution-.-)...or only videos with a bitrate like 2500 or higher .....why this?it isn't necessary!ok if the vid have an high resolution and it have dvd-ripped clips(but they must be high quality!)i can agree with the choose of an high bitrate, but when i see a vid 320x240 with 3000 k/sec .... i think that even if the clips are taken from a dvd source and resized to 320x240,isn't necessary to have that bitrate...if the source is great ok i advice to use 2000 k/sec as bitrate or something little higher...
the high resolution and high bitrate doesn't give only more mb's to the vid(i have a dsl line ,ok,but when i see a vid of 70 mb and 4-5 minutes of vid with 320x240 as resolution and a video quality not for a 10 in the ratings ...)but also other give me problems
e.g. i can't see a vid with high res completely becouse video and audio doesn't go together, and so i must resize and recompress the vid

and this can happen also with the vids with a too high bitrate and a normal res
what do you think about it?
have you ever have my same problems?
(it doesn't happen only with avi divx/xvid but also with mpg's....)
