Can AMV's be in WMV format for contests?

Can AMV's be in WMV format for contests?

When I say can they be in WMV format for contest I mean for Otakon and other conventions or will I have to get them on VHS. I have my videos playing at 1506 K bites per second. Which the quality of the video and sound is great.

It depends on the con's rules for the AMV contest. Most of the time, they stick with MPEG and AVI. Sorry. :\
