If you're in the US, Pandora might be a good option once you seed your feed with things similar to what you're looking for.

Re: Songs
I personally love Pandora for browsing music based on what you like. Pick a genre you're looking for and start thumbing up and down the songs and eventually you'll get something that can work.
I also grab songs from TV Shows, Movies, Comercials, ect. Google is your friend when it comes to finding songs. Also, I'll use SoundHound App to find songs on the radio or in stores that peak my interest.
And since I'm in a pimping mood I also like checking out Free Music Archive. Great place for finding music you can use for free and generally no strings attached. Great stuff for putting up on YT

x2 Good for finding new music with the radio feature, but after using it for a few years I've kind of exhausted it for this purpose. Its database of music isn't very large compared to Last.FM's.LantisEscudo wrote:If you're in the US, Pandora might be a good option once you seed your feed with things similar to what you're looking for.
x2 Better for browsing music by genre and finding similar artists.Radical_Yue wrote:Last.FM and then buy the CDs.
And sometimes if I'm considering a song that doesn't have quite the right sound I'll check to see if it's been covered by another artist at thecoversproject.com

Re: Songs
Pandora used to be awesome before it got saturated with "popular" stuff. Nowadays you search for anything industrial and it's like "If you would like X then you'll like Godsmack! Oh? You don't like Godsmack? Well, how about Godsmack?! No? I know! Then...GODSMACK! >:O"pink haze wrote:x2 Good for finding new music with the radio feature, but after using it for a few years I've kind of exhausted it for this purpose.
