The part most like me do it is the begining, the one that less like me is seeking for scenes cap for cap and exporting. Is boring.

well lets see:
Source= just rip DVD, edit .vob whole eps, easy
Editing= masking and fine FXs/rendering ...never fun
I edit in a pretty relaxed manner, so i keep things simple. But what i hate the most ... uploading it and getting no hits or feed back :(
It makes me feel oh so alone

getting editors block
If you want a series to be longer just write fanfiction!(but don't make anyone read it)

Seeing the scenes I have in my memories differ from the scenes that the footage have , which force me to change my concept a little :S

What I dislike most is my lack of motivation lately and my crapy computer.
I don't have a lot of time to edit but when I do it just seems like I'd rather read a book or play a video game. And my computer is slowly dying so that doesn't help matters either.

Choose your words carefully. Anything you say may be thrown back in your face with vicious sarcasm.

That happens to me.

...Way too often to be normal...

Maybe we dream it up, and just remember the imagery later?

Starting

I am very picky with my stuff so I dont start much projects because I want to be sure they are good first. And then its the thing that If I am not happy with my very first edit I'll scrap the full project.

In other words I havent bin doing shit besides thinking over stuff ever since my last video =|

Waiting for the damned DVDs you need to be available in R1 form 'cuz I can't or won't get raws (not available anymore easily or my own morality/laziness getting in the way) and fansubs are bad. What about R2 Japan DVDs? Too expensive, and even then, it may not be available. And then actually having to go get the darn discs... I have a great idea for a One Piece video...
Having trouble playing back videos? I recommend: Image

Haha, it's a lot the same with me... well besides the scraping part.. I'll just throw it in my project folder. I have a lot of videos with one edit, and I was like "fuck it, I'll come back to this later or never"

All the videos I want to make though I KNOW will take months. I never get to create the videos I want, so that's my least favorite part. Most the videos I throw out I only spend an average of 4 hours most of the time. I wish I had the same patience that some people have here. I think the most time I spent making a video was the remaster video I made.

So my biggest pet peeve about amvs is probably myself. Lack of patience, lack of confidence, lack of a belief my video is going to turn out exactly the way I want it. Also, nowadays, I get lucky to get a burst of creativity and remembering visually what I thought up a long time ago. I use to store how I wanted an entire video in my head for months.. now I have to write them down a lot of times to remember it. Lately though I've been getting the urge to edit, sense of how I want a video, ideas popping in my head.. now that I got all those.. I need one more thing.. less laziness.
