I think cross-hobby stuff is awesome. People have used fanart in AMVs. I know of fanfiction writers who have had their stories dramatized as audioplays by voiceover hobbyists. People dress up as characters they've written all the time. I have a half-serious concept involving a combination of cosplay, congoing and AMVing which probably won't get done because I don't have a video camera, but there's another example.

See, if you're not an uptight wanker, there's limitless possibilities to play around with this kind of thing.

#25 - A cosplayer looks even more ridiculous humming or singing their soundtrack.

#26 - Cosplayers never get the 'big eyes' look right.

I have no clue what they are getting at either.

27# Amv dance videos always seem to work out better than cosplay dance routens.

One thing against both sides:

People from both sides will kill you if you call anime "japanese cartoons" or haven't seen Naruto.

It's just that cosplayers have weapons.
