3D characters, AWA, and AMV's

Damn, seriously, now I'm inspired to keep working on my video

No kidding :D I've wanted to do mine for awhile now, but I've always been like "ehh, it'll take a lot of work, so I'll get to it when I get to it"

We should keep a worklog style thread (maybe this thread) to inspire each other to keep doing good stuff. I guess I'll post some of the model I've been working on when I get a nice render soon (she still needs some fine tuning, she doesn't look quite Mikuru enough yet...and I also had some friends look at her, and they pointed out differences between my model and my reference images that I had overlooked)

So yea, keep it coming :D

gah! You stole my idea! (well kinda ;p ) I'm currently learning blender to do something similar for an AMV idea I have... only using alot of different anime. The part about having someone rocking on stage in particular is similar to what I want to acheive ;p I think next year in AMVs will be quite interesting....

Well I don't and won't have anything to show anymore.

I have my stage done, all that's left is a few minor effects and using it in composite shots.

Now I'm just masking animations in photoshop and driving myself in-fuckin'-sane.

It'll turn out faster with 20 koreans chained to laptops masking Ryuichi in all his singing clips for me.

Try not to get ripped off on Amazon.com by getting Chinese bootlegs of those, 'cause you know, bootlegs, not that good of quality, usually

That's why you use Indian bootlegs. Quantity + quality, what if them having a booming IT industry.
