The guide should work pretty well for 1.0. The basic concepts are the same. you have to import your video and audio files from your hard drive into the program, then you drag what scenes and audio you want from the main window on to the timeline. edit the scenes on the timeline, then export your movie. i think the main differences between 1.0 and 2.0 are how the program looks on your screen, and some additional video effects 2.0 provides.silver_moon_wolf wrote:downwithpant, I took a look at your guide and It's for movie maker 2.0. I only have 1.0 so looked at the site were I can downloade it and I coulden't find anything.
as for getting music from a CD on to your computer, um, i wouldn't suggest radfag as a beginner (i'm assuming ermac didn't write that section and radfag stands for Read AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly Amv Guide). just rip your CD to mp3 or wma with what media player you have, and import it into windows movie maker.
