lmao I at least violate 4 of those ethics. I mean me personally I dont think it should be done. AMV's should take a personallity of its own, not someone elses work.
Oh god, that black dude with the afro is always making those damn trash ass music hip hop amvs...he needs to do something with techno or rock....

good videos from back in the day are classics, if you use the same anime and song, its like remaking star wars with CG.... but.. then again... if you use the same song, diff anime, or a not so well known combo... then it would be more like remaking dawn of the dead... seeing as most of my vids are from 2001-2004 my feelings are kinda mixed, somg videos i would like to see redone better... but one word of advice... if you make a vid that has already been done... mention the video that you ripped off and MAKE A BETTER VIDEO then whats already out there...Krisqo wrote:This is something that has been fluttering in the back of my mind for a few years. I do not see it as stealing, per se, but is this something that is frowned upon? I have not seen this discussed as long as I have been hanging out on the forums and I have run into the above scenario.
