Well, this is the first time i've gotten an email telling me why it didnt make it. It said the logo wasnt readable on my kenshin logo although i could still read it so i darkened it even more and submitted it...

We've recently managed to get around various spam blockers by having the email address originate from the org itself (as it was the hotmail address on the email before) - this might be a reason why you only just got the emails because they were being detected as spam.

lol, my hotmail account couldn't block spam for it's life. Once i deleted all of my random porno and viagra email spams, they would be back within the next 3 minutes. I enjoy Yahoo better now, I dont get any of that crap anymore

No, it did. Trust me.

Hotmail thought the org emails were spam because they were from "amvorg@hotmail.com" but had not been sent by their servers and hence put them in the junk mail folder.

Thats true, all the " you have a new messages on the form" emails go to the junk mail.

Yeah, we can't stop that for topic notifications because they have to be sent to "Undisclosed Recipients" because lots of people will be watching a thread and get a notification about it.

the quality could have been better, but i have only the slightest on how photoshop works, and i stole the clip from either a poor amv, or from a downloaded copy of the episode that has that scene. i did buy hellsing after watching the downloaded version though, quality and english are nice. it got rejected because there was only 51 votes for it, i never got a message that the site logo was too warped. it was up on the vote for whether new banners are worthy.

That's not "rejected" - that's voted unworthy. Those are two different things.

"Rejected" is when I look at the banner and think it breaks one of the rules listed on the banner pages.

"Unworthy" is where org members have voted but don't think it's good enough.

same difference, my terribly small amount of self esteem was crushed no matter how you label the situation. it was "unworthy" not rejected, so i suppose thats something to be pleased about?

its all about taking it in good humor, especially when the mythical muse doesnt force you to create. i think he's hiding, or at least he never visits me.
