Here's the thing though what are we going to do if we ourselves get the allmighty lawyers after us. I mean it's not like my videos are super popular but one of the only things that makes this hoby worth staying in is the ability to share said videos with other people.

Not that i want that to happen it depends on how big of a threat we get seen as. Thats the problem, as AMVs get bigger the possibility of staying under the raidar gets smaller.

I guess i better start on training my ill tempered sea bass who i plan to migrate across the US as a means of dvd distrobution. The only thing i got to worry about then is those blasted sea bass eating destroyer mouses.

I don't think you quite grasp the "worst case" scenario with what you propose. If anything I’d say the ORG becoming a catalogue again would be the best-case scenario. The worse would probably involve lawsuits against every member they can get Phade to hand data over for; and for all those who have donated money... even worse things could await.

The worst thing that could happen is the Org remain fully functional. Yet do to my unremitting pessimistic life outlook I would be the only member of the Org to be sued into oblivion.

I don't ever see the org completely dying. Becoming very limited in material on the other hand...

If the Org were to ban music on the most used music list future problems may be avoided. All you people out there making AMVs with popular music stop. Don’t you realize you killing the Org?

Stay underground/indie.

Most of the regulars here dont use overused songs. If u dont believe me look at a lot of the almost everyone here's profile. Sure we might have videos with overused anime and songs but we have better videos than that.

Some fan person sent in a letter to the company and asked them if the videos on this site were made by them.
