I was repeating the cliches. The old "the only thing to fear is fear itself," which anyone who wants to live knows better than to follow since fear is one of the deepest survival reflexes. Anyone who's in constant competition with himself is going to hit the wall eventually, or burn out trying to outrun his own shadow. Although...now that you mention it, you did make a comment on your Lion King parody how you hoped people wouldn't expect too much out of it. All I was saying is that you should expect people to have expectations, and to decide for yourself whether you care to work towards fulfilling them - or fulfilling yourself. I already knew you were one of the 'fulfill yourself' people who know others expect constant improvement - but who chooses to make what he makes regardless.
What I wrote wasn't meant to be taken as an argument so much as a statement of the way things are. Fans are by their very nature expecting more. You give someone something consistently and they build a tolerance so they want more - because what satisfied them before no longer does the trick. I didn't think that was in debate - I took it for a given that just hadn't been stated in this thread yet.
it's your video not his. in my oppinon he has no right to say(and demand) you should redo anything. not like you made it for him. i hope i don't get any e-mails or ops like that. I do what i want, and people can chose to watch it, but don't tell me how i should edit or make videos.
