The star average information IS listed with the video information. If you are a donator, you can see the star average and star count on the Super Search results. You can even sort by star average so that "good" videos are listed first. Donators also have the videos they have downloaded already highlighted in the top star scale list so that they can see overall videos that are new to them.

Phade.
why isn't it on every search for donators? I know i generally don't use the super search to find videos as i just check every two days for new downloads or new videos.

While I think there's a point to be made about giving more exposure to new creators...

This is a lot like how union in the office work. Someone else keeps getting the promotion because he has more seniority. He's simply been around longer. You can't just expect instant success, even if you're good. You're gona have to wait it out, as more people notice you. Until then, you can just be a starving artist.

Not entirely, I do beleave that the star system serves it purpose better then most things. True there will allways be bias in it, people don't have to use it to look up AMVs though. It's just another means to look them up by. The idea behind it is that creators who make good videos yet don't get the opinions, can have people find their vids.

So don't use it then, just find AMVs the way we used to. Look up random stuff and see what you find. That's how i found my faverates.
