Have you ever used an anime or song you don't like?

The one thing that shocks me is that noone made this very same vid yet.

There's a first time for everything. But, don't use lots of animes or songs you dislike, because even if you win an award, you won't be as happy with it. If your video turns out great, maybe you'll see it everywhere, go crazy, and ditch us like Kevin C.

actually, even if I despise both the anime and the song if I know deep down that the vid is good and people will like it then I will still be just as satisfied with if if the anime and song were both favorties of mine.Double O Ninety wrote:There's a first time for everything. Interesting
To get things back on topic...
I find it interesting that so far alot of people who did AMVs to songs or animes they didn't like, did so for someone else. We put the good of others over our own good judgement. <grin>

Re: Interesting
I know, I realize that it isn't the anime or the song, but the combination of the TWO that makes a good AMV. With the exeption of linkin park and DBZ.anneke wrote:To get things back on topic...

None of us that worked on our first vid to AC/DC's Big Gun were particularly fond of the song, it just seemed to work entirely too well to not use. Now, I'd have a lot of people who've seen it complain that they didn't like the Little Texas version of Kiss the Girl we used in another video (or just plain didn't like the song at all...), but liked the video anyway.
