I actually find the AMVs I enjoy the most are rarely on the top 10%

Well the problem then, as I see it, is I often see a video, and only a segment of it reaches me in some fashion, the rest could well be uninteresting schlock though.

I've often wished I had the initiative to re edit a lot of videos to just clip out the portion I liked and discard the rest.

and thus was born amv hell... it's basically a colage of unfinished/ cut up/ quitted projects.

A girl said at a con that my FMP amv changed her few on the anime. It made me somekind of proud.

The amvs that I´ve watched hardly changed me. I guess they more influenced my editing, but definatly didn´t changed my view on general things.

actually just looking for ones that have songs and your like 'you know I've heard that song TONS of times before... but I never thought of it that way!'

I tend to do these videos alot. -beware! these are BAD AMVs o.0-

but I doubt I'm the only one...

I mean, I DO enjoy just cuz I never thought of GOLDEN BOY as anything more than b00bs! But... it's not. Sub also did Wizard of Osaka and to some point it's very much the same.

There's two ways of thinking of this first there's the old 'I've heard that song a billion times! yet I've never thought of it that way!' or there's the 'I've seen that anime ten TIMES, yet I've never thought of it that way!' Obviously there's no way to know what I have or haven't seen, but just recomend to me ORIGINAL AMVs that, aren't custom made photoshop things (WoOz excluded... but don't recomend that one

) that sort of stand ALONE on the very strength of the concept.

Here's another one I like to point out.
