i make videos out of more recent anime.
nothing with live film, but i do have a tendency of making
REALLY depressing videos.

I've been told all my videos are depressing.

Well, parts of 4 songs, and that includes an intro (in 'LinkinBread K'). And one of the songs used in that is just for a sub-second sample of a slide on an automatic pistol being jacked. 'Bijected Cosmic Face' uses samples from two songs, then reverses them, and 'Try Again' is three versions of the same sample, plus a tricky drum fill under the intro.

I like to make drama videos the best, I'm not a big fan of action videos and my comedy videos are a bit difficult to execute. Drama is my forte. As for song choices I'll use pretty much everything bu tI tend to draw from soundtracks the most since that's what I own a lot of. anime wise I have a little bit of everything.
