my crappy Naruto Session vid somehow managed to get uploaded by 8 people.. some cut the intro out, some left it there, only one person cut the intro and claimed the video to be their's.
I don't get how this happened.. this video is like.. 3 years old, and back then, it was only available online for a few months(and i'm still getting emails about this vid every now and then)

Some of my vids were on there too, but they didn't claim it as being anyones in particular. Frankly I've kinda gone beyond the point of even careing if they do steel it or not ;p I take it more as a compliment than anything.Unlimited Rice wrote: but I'm also a victim to this hosatchel thing, too.. but I'm sorta just laughing at it.

Most of the people who've uploaded my stuff don't take credit for it. I've only had one person do that, but in a most inept way. They ripped the audio off one of my videos, replaced it, then impersonated me to boot. I wish there was something that could be done about the hosatchel thievery, but I doubt the site will ever care much about the issue.

You realise that most of the stuff on YT violates the TOS right? That's the content that YT thrives on. Unless it's something that the RIAA or some other large western media entity would jump at, I doubt they'd react to anything with conflicting copyright.BasharOfTheAges wrote:Just flag it as inapropriate "Illegal acts" and it'll get taken down. Having any AMVs there violates the TOS so it will get removed.

Right, but it's the report that makes the difference. YT doesn't seem to patrol their own content, but as soon as someone opens their mouth, material is removed. Why were Evanescence (and Creed?) videos removed from the Org? Because a a little report from a fan ended up on a lawyer's desk.bum wrote:
