Sys Specs: Pentium 2, 348 MHz, 512 RAM. And up until 3 months ago i was on 512. Never had a problem with the speed at which my editing progmrams responded to my actions, the only slow speeds came from the actual rendering and compression, which aren't even that bad anyway (depending).
