Quite the opposite with me - that's why I don't (though yours relates more to the 2nd part and mine to the 1st).

Frankly, I feel old and bitter enough to realize that credit for making a fan video watched by a few hundred people at most really doesn't mean that much, if it means anything. The fact of the video's existence is all the justification I need.

On the other hand, it's not nice when another person takes the video and uses it for anything but its contents (because, clearly, the fact of the video's existence is not enough for them) - that defeats the purpose of the video. So, I might be unhappy.

But one way of dealing with it is making videos that noone else would ever make :roll:

I'd probably be to shocked and flattered, that anyone would want to take credit for my stuff, to worry about trivial things like not getting credit for it.
