yes, exactly, I was thinking of the conventions about the lyrics... I know people don't care about lyrics, i sure don't and most of the people i associate with don't either, but I find some parents (esp. around children) do care, and I find alot of "holy-er than thou" people to care too. Initially I was thinking about the "radio edit" thing, making two releases, but it does turn into a hassle.
I am aware what I am doing, think of it more as "asking for suggestions" because along with the other MV projects I work on I would like to get active participaters in making THIS particular AMV. I am fully capable of making this AMV solo..as I've done with all my OTHER amv's.. in the real world video editing projects usually are done with more than one person (as it relates to production and editing) look at the credits on practically any show or movie, and I want to work on an AMV like this, one of these days I might do something similar to Animix, but I would like to start off "small" first.
Here's an example, in my 11th music vid "Necromatic Power" I wanted to use a giant mecha sword fight scene with sparks... well first thing that came to mind was a fight in the escaflowne movie. Well I only had the fansub of that and it was a "not so high quality" rip by today's standards and I didn't want to use it unless i got a higher quality version. So anyway, I have the Escaflowne TV series and knowing that the Movie is basically the whole series retold, I knew there was a similar fight somewhere in the series. Not being sure exactly where this was I asked [a person] about it. Not too long afterwards he came back and told me "Episode 13, around 15 minutes or so" I say thanks and the scene was perfect. Now thats teamwork. Now this gives me the idea to get a real team as mentioned previously. (I'm guessing not many people have tried to get a team here before)

My team is the best, you can't beat the guys who edit in all those little black boxes that cover people's nudity on live television. They are so damn fast with their mouses because...they have to be.

Truthfully I am only really honestly thinking of using love hina. When the original idea popped into my head LOVE HINA with keitaro "chillin' at the holiday inn" was the first. And I already have the whole love hina series converted to .mpeg for quicker video browsing, its taking up alot of my space unfortunately, it will be worth it thoughSousaphonist wrote:
there's probably more than enough footage in Love Hina by itself for this video...
the other animes have come to mind with the idea of having other pervert guys/cute girls but I have not honestly put much thought into using them, otherwise they'd all be ripped and converted to MPEG taking up more space on my comp too, lol

i have already explained that I do not wish to treat this MV like any other MV. That was a silly question IMO.

It just seems like you're talking the long, arduous route in making this. You could easily go ahead and make the damned AMV by yourself. If this thread has proved anything, it's shown that there aren't many people willing to help you in this strange, typoed quest you got going here. I mean, it's not like our input matters more than your idea, and it kinda lessens the value of your AMV as a whole if you use our advice too much...serebi wrote:That was a silly question IMO.

Honest to god...
Just make a video yourself. Just do it, and lets leave it at that.
It's bad enough that the rip you found is probably downloaded from my guessing of the way you described it, but it's even worse you want other people to work with you on what it just a plain normal music video. It's worse than the sprouting of all these random multi-editor projects, like "The BLOODHOUND GANGS UP AND COMING ALBUM'S PROJECT." That doesnt exist, but I could see it existing :s. Anyways, for the sake that this is a hobby that merits little more than people typing to you saying "Nice vid," you shouldnt take this so seriously. Just do this, and dont treat it like a part of revelations, and dont you DARE try to argue with me. You are just being lazy....I've had a mind change, do something good for yourself and get outside or something.
Abandon your dream. I gotta. We gotta.
*gunshot*-Read Of Mice and Men, it will do you good. Something better to do with your time perhaps, and a book that goes all too underappreciated
