Heh, yea, that or one among many other videos where pretty well all you see is a product of the editor rather than actual anime footage.
Really, it's a bad idea. Sometimes people even get caught on simple transition patterns... I don't even want to think what happens to those who take the digital effects, out-of-background cut-and-paste characters, etc.
It's in bad taste.
Besides, unless you're being a lazy bum and stealing other people's effects rather than making your own, I see no reason for you to take footage from other AMV's.
