Look To The Stars [star avg: 4.04]
Anime Academy Heroes [star avg: 3.92]
Dedication [star avg: 3.87]

I've always found it kinda odd as to why Look To The Stars is my highest in terms of star ratings when the only other video (which I took seriously in making) which people gave me more "tips for improvement" other than this was Stand My Ground. As you might see in the opinion scores, those people didn't seem to think of it as being as brilliant  as the people giving me stars did.

I'll only post the ones that are actually available.

1. Riceball Love - 3.87
2. Fate - 3.74
3. Emcee Sak - 3.65

1. Riceball Love was my second real amv. I have the most emotional ties to that one because then I was going through the transition of missing my friends from high school after going to college. I wanted to get that message of hope out that you aren't alone. Maybe it got across to people and that's why it was one of my highest.

2. Fate was about looking for a lost love. You want to find them no matter what. Sometimes you end up finding something that will crush you. When I started this video I was in a relationship. The person would disappear every now and then due to work or whatever. Luckily at the time he came back. However, that twisted nature in me decided to make the leading lady suffer. I guess people feel her pain.

3. Emcee Sak was my first attempt at an real amv that was fun, cooky, and that used rap music. I wanted it crazy and to go with the Cardcaptor Sakura universe that I was so into at the time. It has no storyline but people find it fun so that's probably why it's in my (available) top third star ratings.

Fallen Heros and Lost Love [stars: 646] [star avg: 3.95]
Determination [stars: 364][star avg: 3.90]
Chaotic Circumstance: Tetsuo [stars: 187] [star avg: 3.89]

All of these are relatively older vids, and oddly enough Determination and Chaotic Circustance have fewer downloads than a lot of my other stuff. It seems my stuff often applies only to those with a select form of taste.

Also my highest scored video in terms of Ops is in the high 3.7s (The Hawk's Talon). It's also I believe the only vid of mine with over 1000 star ratings.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

Absolution - 4.08
Ever Searching - 4.04
Snow Days - 4.04

They've all fluctuated throughout the years. Scores for the first two tended to get a boost following a convention showing or contest, then slowly level down in the following year.

Snow Days is one of my briefest (in all manners) video ever, so its rating is somewhat of a surprise. I guess it's because very people have seen it, and the ones who watch it are the ones who seek it out in the first place, so they tend to like what they see...

But I still don't understand why Absolution is still the highest-rated video in my profile. :?:

I guess star ratings are a good way to figure out what people like. So if you feel like catering to convention (or VCA) audiences...

Still More Fighting-[star count: 244][star avg: 4.1]

Kingdom Hearts Tribute-Supernatural-[star count: 98][star avg: 3.92]

Between Angels and Dragons-[star count: 85][star avg: 3.84]

I thank god that the 3rd amv I listed has a higher average than the one of my other amvs that has an average of 3.83 because listing that amv would just be embarrasing. lol

It was very first amv and to this day, I still don't understand why it's got over a 3.5 star average. [/url]
