Idea: Classic AMV column, weekly

I was thinking the other day, while taking a trip down memory lane, that there are a lot of older AMVs that don't get much exposure these days... and yet, they are still great. They still entertain me.

And I was thinking... I bet a lot of people who are newer on the AMV scene have never seen, and may never see, these older gems. Now, some videos are so famous that they need no introduction... but there's lesser-known, or just plain forgotten videos out there that deserve to be seen.

So I was thinking it would be fun to do a sort of Classic AMVs post, or a blog somewhere, or even do a webpage for it... anyway, regardless of how its done, have a different classic AMV each week featured, with some info, a place for people to comment, etc...

I think it's a nifty idea.

I thought there already was an 'old school' thread in the reccomended videos forum... Were you thinking of something along those lines, or some other way to get the word out on the oldies but goodies?

DannyPoo comes to mind. His DBZ videos were classic.

Actually, that sounds like a pretty good idea for the AMV Newsletter. Although, they are more lengthy between issues, it's still something to pass onto them. But if you are up to posting a "weekly" column... give it a shot.
