I have given about 300 opinions I think I only gave 3 of them perfect 10 out 10's and the worst opinion I gave one got like a 5 something. SO not even really bad amvs get that bad of opinions. I also think that some people shouldn't be able to give opinions. Some of my first attemps at an amv i put up on a-m-v.org and someone give it all 1's. For one thing I know it the quality and song was bad but the editing sync was pretty good. It also hadn't been done before. I also don't think that really any amv is bad enough to get a 1 at anything (besides re-viewable).
So yeah if you don't know how to give opinions then look up how and give opinions that actually fit what the amv should get.

The lowest I've ever given anybody was a 2 for video quality. But in each video that I ever op I'm always in search for something to actually praise them in, because there's bound to be something that the creator would have been proud with and such efforts should not be easily dismissed. I guess, I was honest enough in that particular op that the person whom I exchanged with actually didn't take offence and I believe almost gave me straight 10s too.
I'm not entirely sure, but eh, I have a niggling feeling that at one point or another I might have received a rather not so good score because the person who opped it came third or so in a convention competition in which I came first. I mean, it could just be me being paranoid, it could just be that in the forum discussions I've had with this person they generally are just generally disagreeable, or maybe to them I really just deserved that... but still I guess I can't be blamed for feeling this way.
I really haven't had a review yet in exchanges in which I felt I was scored lower than expected out of spite. I must be good in sugar coating the bad criticisms I'm bound to give now and then

Heh, that vid actually hasn't gotten any flames, just some rather...confused viewers. I don't actually remember which vids he reviewed, just that his sole complaint was the Kurama-Hiei theme, and that the third one made me blow up. I distinctly remember stomping around my apartment and griping to my poor roommates about how 'gayness' has nothing to do with capture quality, and that the audio quality isn't determined by whether the song is singing about two guys or a guy and a girl. ^_^;;; I still remember the review I left - I commented on how I'd never heard of an anime called Freakazoid and gave him marks for originality.devilmaykickass wrote:Was it the "In Your Arms" video, or another one? I think I remember reading a not very nice review for that one...and laughing. x)
