Well, to keep the aspect ratio the same(assuming 4:3 TV series) it'd be more like 29 off left and 29 off right, but yeah. :wing:

(actually, 44 off the height would mean 58.6666666666666666666666666667 off the total width, but pixels don't cut into fractional values too well...)

Every time I cut subs out of my videos, I just take some number of pixels off the bottom (usually ~35), and then re-size to 640x480.

Sure, it results in image distortion, but it's hardly noticeable. I've even fooled somebody into thinking that I got Guardian Hearts RAWs.
