Shouldn't there also be sections for coming out of retirement? I'm sure creators have tried to make comebacks before. Sometimes, you'll do anything to stay in the spotlight and keep the drama going for just a little bit longer.

Your avatar reminds me of Otakudom.

"So Marty... wanna buy one of my rarest doujinshis?"

As for evolution, I'd rather not think about it. I'd rather enjoy it.

I believe the line is "... my Rayearth doujinshi". :)

You assume to much. That may be a general guidline for a creator but it dosent apply to everyone.

I'm pretty old compared to alot of the people here, i'm not planning on retireing. Just because somone did recently dosent mean it wont happen again. Then there are the people that just suddenly stop after they started.

It is true that this "evolution" does happen quite a bit but if that way is correct then it isn't really evolution. It's more like death, since were all doomed to repeat the same path as all of those who came before us.

Consider that until a few years ago people didn't edit AMVs with programs. This hobby is changing all of the time and thats what makes it special. I'm not disagreeing with anyone i just view calling that evolution as ignoring some of the important things that make up this hobby.

At least that's my take.
This has no relevence to the discussion above it
